If making the NFL is the battle cry of IMG Academy...

ALL these prospects around the nation should just enroll at St Aug of the NOLA Catholic League....or one of these other NFL producing factories...

If you subtract the Military Academy schools St Aug ranks #6 in producing NFL players all-time.......

Top 10

High School HS City HS State Players Active
Fork Union Military Academy Fork Union VA 69 16
Long Beach Polytechnic Long Beach CA 58 7
St. Thomas Aquinas Fort Lauderdale FL 36 16
Miami Northwestern Miami FL 35 5
Susan Miller Dorsey Los Angeles CA 33 0
Hargrave Military Academy Chatham VA 31 5
McKinley Canton OH 30 0
St. Augustine New Orleans LA 30 4
Male Louisville KY 28 0
Glenville Cleveland OH 26 8

YOU don't need to sell your soul to make the NFL or try to beat the system..

I think preparing young players for the NCAA Division 1 college football experience is more IMG's selling point, not the NFL.

"Since almost every IMG student, be it a football player or another sport-specific athlete, lives on campus, they’re used to being away from home. Going off to college isn’t as much of a culture shock.

They learn time management. Their diets are better. They already know their way around a film room. It’s all football, all the time. Additionally, the academic curriculum is designed for players to graduate a semester ahead of schedule. Of the 21 IMG recruits who signed NLIs in February, 20 were early enrollees.

Today’s college freshmen are getting more playing time than ever before, and IMG’s high school seniors arrive readier than most."

Maybe, BUT I don't see these IMG guys looking any different in college than anyone else that is a stud....they went to IMG as studs.

I just ain't buying the model........

They are preparing for life at top D1 programs. Yes, they were already studs at the high schools they originally came from, but probably we're not able to prepare for the next level experience at those high school programs as well as they can at IMG.

I don't see how splitting reps with 2 or 3 other 4* or 5* guys helps anything....just bust egos.

We EAT good enough in NOLA to make the NFL.....maybe better than anyone truthfully...

Practicing against other D1 level players can't hurt in terms of preparation. NOLA food is good...no argument there!

Through all the smoke screens the goal of IMG is NFL. They are a sports agency and they want to represent them. That’s what the returns are meant to be for the investors.  To date it doesn’t seem to be happening at the rate they hoped but it only takes one  50 million contract at 15% commission to pay off at 7.5. Mil.  Not sure what it cost to run the program but I know they have not had a pay out yet. The kids they have in the NFL are not making much beyond league minimum and the ones drafted this year have yet to make the team.  They need a    #1 pick to cash in.  This year 32 schools not named IMG had one. Same for the 5 years prior. Lol.

This exactly-  what I have been saying about IMG and their purpose.

The best thing young athletes can do is stay active-  multi sports...Compete!

The majority must have been doing something right...Considering most of them transfer to IMG with top D1 offers already!

IMG training is pretty overrated and makes players soft IMO.

They look no different from public school talent in college and in most cases...in fact look much worse.

That's because splitting time with other 4/5 star players at the same position not only stunts growth, but doesn't teach leadership which is important in football. They have no clue what its like to handle a load because their hand is held the entire way. Well no one holds your hand after HS. Wouldn't send my kid there unless I really, really had to.
