Will be interesting to see if anything changes -- they've either been ignoring the existing rule already or are just shit for compliance
AztecPadre
Both no doubt. You don't have all those transfers going on without knowing. Or just being dumb. Not sure how I feel about this yet tho. Im all for a parent having the choice to send their kid where they want for school. But transfering more than once in high school would not be ok for me. Meh..... I'm opposed but yield to the irresistible tide Sounds great when you say parents' or kids' choice, but most hsfb parents and kids are deluded about their talent and too eager for disruptions. And, for every new guy transferring in his senior year, there's a guy that was there all four years that just got benched I realize being a fan of a Catholic powerhouse, this could appear disingenuous, but I prefer the part of hsfb where kids grow up and play together than the mercenary version that could create a couple of dozen super teams from talent rich areas with open transferring, relegating the other 14,000+ to the perception of "recreational" It's coming

The kids my son plays with at VC have all been there since freshman except for 2 who came in as sophomores. But still I'm all for to each their own so I'm ok with one transfer in high school but not being a free agent every year.

Now they can after sitting out for the 3 or 4 games required for athletic transfers.

Imo, the benefits of playing with your friends far exceeds any move for reasons other than education. No idea if opinion changes if I'm the parent though. Probably.
