Plenty of other high school coaches have. I know he applied at one metro school at least and didn't get it. There are rumors of other major high school job openings that didn't come through. Damn Fred...the reason your "statement is true" is because Rush's teaching cert is not cleared. If he saves it...he'll have a coaching job quicker than Kurt Taylor took in getting back to Newton. The part about high school is indeed currently related to his teaching certificate although as I said I know he wasn't able to make a move at the high school level when he wanted to. You probably would be shocked to know who has expressed interest...IF...the teaching cert gets cleared up. The only question would be....would he stay in Georgia? That's running about 50/50.
