BigDrop
This was a huge game. Should have received a great deal more attention on here. I’ve seen a dozen or more PA state championships going back, perhaps, fifty years. From CB West to North Allegheny there is a rich tradition that most other states can only hope to approach. As recently (!) as the late ‘80’s North Hills was number one in America (USA Today). Somehow, when you’re older late ‘80’s doesn’t sound like it was forever ago. (The Irishman: “it’s when you finally get there that you realize how fast time has passed.”)

Anytime you bring up the tradition and history of PA football, you hear the same old shit from the same ole' people, lol. Not worth it. But really glad you had a chance to see some o fthe old school PA teams in playoff and title games. The one thing I love about Pitt Central Catholic is they still put the quarterback under center and run out of the I-formation or split backfield. Old school is still cool school. 1

ATLien12x
Great drive by SJP. Trailing by a touchdown with under a minute left and they closed in and scored. Terrific catch by Harrison Jr. Nicely done. PS noticed their WR is now playing QB for them. What happened to the Ohio State commit?! @sausmann9

I'm going to go back thru the USA Today rankings, and you'll see that Pa was dominant w/ a few MNC winners. Berwick comes to mind. Bunch of others. 181pl
I'm a native Floridian that respects the hell out of PA football, Ohio football, and NJ football. Sounds like a great game.

Great title games, I still break those out occasionally when up at the cabin.

Somewhat easy ride b/n the schools. Cool venues in each area. Both schools have a nice following. Sounds liked a kickoff classic in thte makings.
