HooverOutlaw
Remember when you said nobody cares about the Hoover 7 on 7. Nobody cares except the biggest national paper in the entire USA. Eat that crow boy. https://www.google.com/amp/usatodayhss.com/2017/five-things-to-watch-at-usa-football-7on7-nationals-in-hoover/amp
TheRealCAJ
This is the worst Hoover event in the history of the event.....it's basically an Alabama event now. It's probably going fade out soon.

Hence the name of the paper USA TODAY HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS. Plus I'm sure they have a regional usatoday paper around that area as well
HooverOutlaw
It seems that makes it a national event if a national paper is covering it. That's the point it's not just an Al and Geo deal. No regional edition same paper all states.
TheMaximumHornetSting
This is just a Weak year for it. It happens to everything.
ECHS05
Its not really a weak year... its just that theres 3 "Hoover 7on7" Championships now.. and the 2 others stole a lot of the teams that competed last year in the singular Hoover event... specifically the Dallas one has a lot of teams thatd normally be at Hoover. But they are all apart of the event.

Nolebull813
So some pencil neck at USAToday writes an article about it and all of sudden it's a national phenomenon? I guess every article that USAT writes is symbolic for something significant in all of America. Im not bashing the tourney. I'm just saying it's not a big a deal as your making it out to be. Hyperbole seems to be 90 percent of the board. Lol
sportsnut25
USAT is owned by Gannett, which in turns owns a ton of papers around the country. Anything sports related will be covered either by the local guy and then republished by USAT or USAT will send a reporter and it'll run in both USAT and the local paper. Here is the breakdown of who they own - http://www.gannett.com/brands/
