Peoria Centennial beat Chandler:

- while outgaining the latter by 90 yards (held Chandler's passing game to 110-yards)

- while building a 26-0 lead

- while losing the turnover battle

Insisting that the only undefeated team in Arizona's 6A ranks is the fourth best in the state is **LAUGHABLY** stubborn, especially when you have them ranked behind an in-state team that they 1) beat head-to-head; and 2) another (Basha) that lost to a squad that in turn got spanked at home by a 4-6 Lone Peak team.

If you can't justify having Centennial ranked ahead of some of the out of state teams they're currently behind how can you justify Chandler and Basha being in their positions with lesser resumes this season? You'd be better off excluding Arizona teams from your rankings altogether than to be arbitrary as hell while ranking them.

Understand your points completely.    My basis was that after being down by 26, Chandler was able to get within 1 before the final whistle.    Arizona has several topflight teams this season, to the point that I am not even sure that Centennial is the best team in the City of Peoria.    Basha, Hamilton, and Liberty are having great seasons as well.   The Gilbert schools are all playing well.  To me an indicator of how tough the state is is the fact that Saguaro stands at 4-3 with Liberty up next.    Keep in mind that polls throughout the year are dynamic in nature and these things have a way of sorting themselves out by year end.

Always one of the best coached teams in Louisiana regardless of talent. Fundamentally sound in every aspect of the game.

Coached by one of Louisiana's Coaching Legends.

STM has always played up so not quite as many state championships as JT Curtis.

I cut off his name, but it is Jim Hightower. He was inducted into the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame last year...

Good coach and staff.

Just stop posting comments. No one on here cares what your racist, redneck ass has to say, swamp turd. Everyone’s IQ points are dropping every time they read your drivel.

You want to call this a "dynamic" ranking while having the only undefeated team left in 6A 30+ spots behind a team they beat head-to-head. This isn't a dynamic ranking, it's a ranking that is clearly putting more emphasis on preseason expectations than the actual on-field results, whether it's Centennial beating Chandler or Highland getting dog-walked by Lone Peak and how that reflects on Basha.

A truly dynamic ranking would adjust as more information is available, like the Highland loss to Lone Peak (and corresponding games with Basha and Chandler decided by less than a field goal), Orange Lutheran proving to be not up to the lofty ranking they had previous to Chandler, Chandler letting the same Casteel team your #28 bludgeoned by six scores hang with them for a half, and Chandler losing an in-state game.

A dynamic ranking is rewarding programs for big wins as they happen and not alluding to things "sorting out" after all is said and done - that's not being questioned and could just as easily be construed as you don't have enough information after 70% of the regular season is gone to come to an educated conclusion.

I don't think Centennial is a top 50 squad by any means but know that there's no way they should be looking up to Chandler based on how the season has played out thus far.

Don't blame me for your poll sucking so badly, hillbilly.

If you're going to put out a poll do the necessary research to attempt one.

If not, quit fucking with it. You can't sell that bullshit.

Saying your name is Hillbilly Vol and that's the way it is just doesn't work.
