Don't be a Donald!

I found crayon marks on the wall and a crayon, coincidentally, in my grandson's  hand.

Being the analytical type, I suspected him to be the graffiti artist.

Markings on wall, crayon in hand, uncle a graffiti artist (genetically predisposed to destroy property when no one is around)

So I asked him, "did you make the marks?"

He looked at me, still with crayon in hand and shook his little head, no.

Not believing him, I said, "Don't be a Donald!"

well, he continued to deny it.'

So now I am thinking he has what it takes to be president one day!

Nooner I promise if you just try not to get all worked up over Stormy Daniels side piece all the time you will live a better life.

It might be my white privilege talking but you might be a happier person if you don't let the Make America Great agenda hurt your feelings so much.

You are turning into the boards CNN social justice warrior whack jobs like Sport Nutty and Couyon Cajun.

Move more towards the center. The left side is not a good look for you. Lol

you don't like my story?

My honest opinion, I think many wingnuts are becoming sensitive to the standard banter that goes on here because Trump is failing so miserably. Honest. I think at some level all wingnuts are feeling let down by the chaos and conduct with and around Trump.

BTW, the OP should have caused you to hit the funny emoji and gone on to the next thread.

Nothing more.

What is he failing at? Hell everyday I think he is winning at life more and more.

You got CNN syndrome. Obama was the worst president in modern history and you don't hear people bitching all the time. You did. But it got old

Its time to get over it and ride out the presidency just like we all had to with Hussein Obama.

Criticizing Trump now just seems whiny and not a good look.

What you call riding a jock I call laughing at all the butt hurt liberals whining and bitching everyday instead of living their lives.

Lol. 7 more years Nutty. Get comfy

no one is whining, we are keeping aware of this unprecedented situation in American history.

My latest concern is that with the unbelievable turnover in the oval office we won't have anyone to say "no Mr President, you cannot press that button, we are taking change because you are not rational."

We no longer have a cabinet that puts America first, he has gotten rid of all and replaced them with lap dogs.

When did his cabinet ever put America first?  He started with multiple billionaires and multi-millionaires and now has lap dogs.  The last President that had an America first cabinet was Barrack Obama.

But, I seriously ask you this: do think he is happy? Take your time, think about it carefully, and then give me an honest answer.

After you do, do you think it's really worth having what DJT has? The answer may surprise you.

After that, go back and watch today's market action. Days like today teach you a lot more about the market than days like yesterday.

Honestly i could care less if hes happy or not. The guy is extremely successful. yes you can point out the bankruptcies and such but it protected his assets. Hell yeah I would love to have what he has. Maybe not POTUS and take all of the shit but his private life sure. The market is up again today. Almost 900 points in 2 days. I would say more americans than not are probably miserable people. If you look at the way we as Americans live its a pretty miserable life.

So, happiness means nothing to you? We could debate his degree of success, and we probably could not make an accurate determination since DJT's wealth, unlike a Buffet, Bezos or Gates, is hard to quantify (he does not have many publicly traded assets and has not made customary Presidential disclosures). But let's assume he is wildly wealthy. But is he happy?

Regarding your latter comments about the perceived unhappiness of Americans, could it be that we are doing something wrong? That maybe we have missed our true purpose? Just food for thought.

And, BTW, the market is both up and down today. That is why it's an important one to analyze. Ah, but it lacks action, glamour and the things we as a species seem attracted to like flies to beached fish ... carry on then.

more like has gotten, lost, and gotten again.....

Let's just hope that at the end of his life, he knows that this was/is not the most important thing.... he could ever do, or has done......

Found a pretty profound quote when we were talking about Indians before....and you may consider the context of the speaker and timeframe..

But just wondered what others reaction would be to it....

I think we are trying to get him to reflect on the same thing. Good post!

Its a very small piece. Do you really believe the majority of people in this country are happy? serious question? I dont mean happy in a political sense I mean happy with their own personal private lives? I dont. I believe more people than not are unhappy. Our country has great as it is imo is not set up for people to be happy.

Yes your 2nd statement i believe is true we have completely missed our true purpose and we have sold out for working and working more and neglecting family time to go to work some more. Thats all this country is. Go to school be miserable there. Then get a job be miserable there for the next 30-40 years than die after that. Sounds amazing right

Yes it is up and down today but right now up from where it was yesterday

The DOW is, yes. But this is a divergent market; some indices are down, including the market leading, NASDAQ. If you someday hope to invest/trade successfully, these are the kinds of days that would be well worth your study.

Regarding the majority of Americans, I am not sure. Certainly many are not happy. One need only look at suicide rates, drug abuse and dysfunctional behavior to conclude thus. But the majority? I am not sure. What I am sure of is that at this stage of life, in my own humble way, I am doing what I want And, for that, I am happy!

Right but how many years did you have to wait until you can do what you wanted. 60 years? How is that right? Our whole lives is one big schedule with a 6 foot hole at the end of it.

Then focus on my comments regarding the market. If you have the skill, work ethic and temperament, that may liberate you from bondage. Of course then you would have to figure out what to do with your time which takes great self knowledge ...

It doesnt take much to figure out what to do with your time. There would be ample time for naps great lunches and dinners. Now to have the resources to do that you would need the money but as was stated by block we are part socialist so maybe the government would be so generous to just throw me money. This way i can sleep in every morning and dont have to put up with anything I dont want too. But until that day we as American citizens are stuck in this never ending cycle of misery that we call life. Yes we have some good moments mostly called weekends were we can somewhat enjoy our lives.

I have done my part and wish you luck. I wish you well. But to do well you have much to do. It may help to develop true self knowledge.

Sure sounds like you have not figured out what to do with your time yet....

Remember what I said before....The only thing that money can ever bring you that will give you 'true happiness', is the ability NOT, to have to 'rely' on it....
