MA Fan
Time to dust off your PCNTV streaming subscription: Thursday 1:00 1A: Lackawanna Trail (14-1) vs. Farrell (14-0) 7:00 4A: Imhotep (11-2) vs. Erie Cathedral Prep (12-3) Friday 1:00 2A: Southern Columbia (15-0) vs. Wilmington (14-1) 7:00 5A: Manheim Central (15-0) vs. Penn Hills (15-0) Saturday 1:00 3A: Middletown (13-1) vs. Aliquippa (12-1) 7:00 6A: St. Joseph's Prep (12-0) vs. Harrisburg (13-1) Harrisburg upset Coatesville in the semifinals today when everyone had been expecting a rematch of last year's epic SJP-Coatesville semifinal. Impressive that Harrisburg broke through this year after graduating some serious talent. SJP crushed Pine-Richland 37-0 in the other semi to avenge last year's semi defeat. Penn Hills beat Archbishop Wood last night to end their championship run. Erie Cathedral and Imhotep are playing in the championship for the fourth straight year. I guess the realigned brackets were a success for the PIAA, with local teams in the 3A, 5A, and 6A finals.

Nolebull813
Is Cathedral Prep any good? They got boateaced by St Ed Ohio and a Canadian team put 50 on them. Plus they lost to an average 5A team. Is 4A and down really that bad?

They are good in PA b/c they are a loaded up, regional all-star team that plays an average schedule. Imhotep just undisciplined and killed themselves with penalties and other bullshit. Erie Prep brought in a nice quarterback, a very nice tightend (6'3" 240) and a few other players on the season and on top of that they still play at 4A level instead of the 6A level so they look like beasts. ECP is one of PA's "joke school". Last season they were THREE students under the 5A starting point. they pull shit like this all the time but claim righteousness. PA trying to force schools like this up to the 5A and 6A level for playoffs.
