Evangel and Lufkin both won state championships that year and both finished in the Top 15 nationally....lots of great players. Too many to list. Evangel in white. Lufkin, TX was led by 5* QB Reggie McNeal who signed with Texas A&M....had a decent career there and was drafted in the 6th Rd. McNeal ran a 10.3 100 metes in high school and he ran a 4.35 40 at the NFL combine.
