Coletrain06
St. Edward (3-1) @ Winton Woods (4-0) - St. Ed's 28 Winton Woods 21 Eds got the better of Elder last week winning 42-25, behind impressive performances from Formani and Montorie Foster. Winton Woods is undefeated and one of the top teams in the state. With IMO the best RB in OH in Miyan Williams, and other great skill players, their run heavy offense is hard to stop. They are also pretty stout on defense. Winton Woods and Eds are both among the most talented teams in the state. Winton Woods has definitely has the horses to win this game. If Eds has an advantage it's definitely in their Linemen, although WW has pretty good Linemen also. In the past, WW has struggled with discipline and coaching adjustments. Given the high level that Ed's usually executes at, I think that will be the difference in an otherwise pretty evenly matched game.

Their QB has had a hot hand and thrown two long bombs for TDs (70 and 66 yards). Other than that they're getting <2 yards per play. If they can continue the long vertical game like this, they have a shot. .

O'Malley hits a deep pass to Foster for 50 yards, who then fumbles as he's being tackled, but the ball is recovered in the endzone for a TD by Ed's. OdbCle
Big finish to the half for WW. Qb about to be sacked, but breaks free and finds Blankumsee who scrambles to the fifteen with a second left. Rather than kick a FG, WW goes for it and their receiver beats one on one coverage for a TD. 2 pt. conversion good. 28-17 half.
OdbCle
35-17 Ed’s. Formani runs it in after Ed’s gets the short field following a failed fake punt attempt by WW that got snuffed out.
