What Obligations did they have again?

The Kennedy Center is owned by the federal government. So they were paying for staff (those pesky jobs that Charlie was worried about) and maintenance. That shouldn't require any further explanation.

Refugee resettlement is also self-explanatory. They're paying to handle the refugee crisis at the border which is, again, their responsibility.

PBS and NPR are public television and public radio. Just paying the bills which includes staff (more pesky jobs).

Salaries and expenses for the House is, again, self-explanatory. They're paying the bills which includes staff (more jobs? geez).

You have to ask questions this, nolebull, because you're a dumbass.

You are explaining it like it needs to be done. Just because they are doing it doesn’t be mean it’s right. There was an uproar because the Kennedy Center was laying off workers.

And why would the House need bonuses and pay increases at a time like this and when they make more than 95 percent of their constituents?

Refugee resettlement?? WTF??? That’s not our problem.

And even if these were justifiable which they aren’t, throwing it into a pandemic budget is cruelly political and not in the best interest of legal Americans who are struggling due to the Joe-Vid 19

That's exactly the point. They have obligations that needed to be met.

And you and Charlie fail to mention this point: it passed the Republican Senate and was signed by the Republican President.

It was in the bill because it needed to be taken care of at the time the bill was signed.

I know, crazy, right?
