Bishop Verot is from Deion’s hometown of Ft Myers. 

They are also playing in the Freedom Bowl in Atlanta so hopefully they field a good team. 

Gadsden County is a garbage team that they must be playing on their Tallahassee trip. So many better teams to choose from. Just like when they picked FAMU High. Just terrible. But I guess they need some breathers after being booted out of TAPPS and having to schedule a full schedule

They're playing Dunbar from Ft Myers in the kickoff classic as well, at least that was the plan announced back in January. As I understand it Deion wants a game a year back in Ft Myers. They tried to schedule Lehigh last year but the FHSAA nixed it.

Wossman was 6-6 last year....3A school right down the road from Monroe Neville and West Monroe.

#109 in Louisiana last year.

Nice ATHs most years, but the good ones go to Monroe Neville and West Monroe. Too many schools right there in that Monroe cluster. 😀

I think the last OOS game Wossman played was vs 5A Marshall, TX in 1990. I can't remember any, maybe Reb72 can.......that's his neck of the woods.

Monroe Wossman gave the 5A Texas Champ a scare.....losing 14-7

Monroe Neville beat Marshall that year 21-14.

Wonder why they nixed it. He has been wanting a game for a while. When he was with Prime Prep the FHSAA had a rule about playing renegade teams. Even when he slid to that other team called Triple A Academy or A Plus Academy or whatever it was called. He tried to come play his alma mater North Ft Myers High. This was before IMG put them on their payroll. Now they should have no issue.
