South Louisiana 4* Speedster RB Ahmonte Watkins at Klein Forest (Houston)

Be interesting to see how Klein Forest does this year in football they were pretty terrible last year.

RB Ahmonte Watkins is Top 10 nationally in the 200 meters clocking a 21.37.

Watkins is also part of the Klein Forest 4x100 team which is 7th nationally and the Klein Forest 4x200 team which was #1 nationally this year when track came to an end. 

...Watkins best 100 meter time is 10.44 (wind)

txball puts a lot emphasis on Texas speed and relays. Klein Forest was 0-10 last year. Let's see this year.

Why is Klein Forest so far behind the rest of the Klein schools and Houston in general?

Even the newer Klein Cain blew Klein Forest up last year....Cain been playing football 3 years.

@Texasfrog Escambia,FL went over to New Orleans a few years back and played Cajun’s Archbishop Rummel squad. 

Escambia,FL boat raced Rummel 21-8 then came back to Florida and got butt drilled in the 2nd round. 

 That year Escambia finished 93rd in the entire state of Florida,  while Rummel cruised to a Louisiana state top 10 ranking. 

Lol. 93rd in FL is much better than 10th in Louisiana. Probably in the 100’s in TX

I expect Klein Forest to win at least 3 games this year now that they have a real homerun hitter from Louisiana....he plays both ways so both sides of the ball will be much improved.

They probably will..   I'm sure the kid will bring a few more TD's to the team.  His a next level talent.

They still have some big boy schools in that District that bring much more well rounded teams with just as much "Team Speed."
