HooverOutlaw
That's what happens when you have a 1 team league and starved to death for attention. The state of Alabama is better than the whole ACC. Has the ACC ever had 2 great teams at the same time? Never had a 1 vs 2 match in conference history. They only have 8 national titles in football period. The SEC has had 10 since 2006. You take Clemson out and they are mid major type conference. Bowing down to a washed up Notre Dame is pitiful. If Notre Dame played in the SEC west in conference they would lucky to go 4-4 or 5-3.

Notre Dame has been long associated with the Big Ten and the ACC, so it makes sense to fit in there versus SEC.
Ga96
North Carolina could win the conference and Miami should be a dark horse. The ACC is basically the state of Florida history wise. Those hurricanes are the reason Notre Dame wasn't in the ACC a long time ago.

So they're paying $15 million for 4 games. So how is that bowing down?
TheMaximumHornetSting
Geographically they should've joined the Big 10... But given the contract wise.... They're closer with the ACC...
HooverOutlaw
Only a 2nd rate conference would have allowed Notre Dame to come in for 3 1/2 months. ACC is being used like a 2 dollar hooker by Notre Dame. I would understand if it was as a full time member. TV ratings are so bad for the ACC because of teams like Miami with low viewership it will do anything to help the ratings. The ACC is own its knees begging Notre Dame please help our poor tv ratings we suck.
