since it was going to be Oct 9 start West Monroe had scrambled and scheduled Carencro to replace Longview (TX).  I wonder if this change puts the Lobos back on the schedule?

Unfortunately Carencro is out since they are now playing their original week 3 opponent and West Monroe is out in the cold...  we still do not have anyone to play on Oct 2

probably just as well though, WM seems to always lose their best player(S) to injury before the season ever begins.  Their LSU commit Peyton Todd (Punter/LB) is out for the season with an ankle injury that required surgery.

And Rayshawn Pleasant who plays both defense and some offense with offers from UL, La Tech and Memphis is out with ACL

WM will be a non-factor in 5A this year 😒

Carencro is Preseason #5 in Louisiana and #286 nationally.....per Maxpreps, more than respectable compared to some of the trash brought up at this forum.

They BEAR could be really good this year.....will be a tough game for West Monroe.

If it’s tough for West Monroe then not only do they stink, but they would have no shot at a title. And that’s saying something in Louisiana. 

West Monroe should win by 30 plus. I’m gonna have faith in them because I like @Reb72
