All 3 of the games were at hoover/Birmingham. 1995: Hoover beat Ruston, La 14-7 (hoover finished #7 in Alabama) 2003: Hoover beat Evangel Christian, La 21-14 (hoover won state, #1 finish) 2006: John Curtis, La beat Hoover 28-14 (hoover was the 6A Runner-up, #2 finish) Anyways, hoover was to suppose to make a return trip to the Bayou in 2007 (game to be played at the Superdome).....never happened. Finished 93rd in Florida while Rummel finish top 10 in Louisiana. Rummel snaked their way out of a home and home and told Escambia they weren’t coming to Pensacola in 2019. They weasel their way out of the contract so they could play some chump ass North Carolina team. Who they barely beat 7-3. Escambia went all the way to state before bowing to Miami central. Now you know the Rummel coach was a giant pussy and bailed out on Escambia because he knew that if they lost to a shit Escambia team imagine how bad they would lose to a good one.
