Suffice it to say...he was pretty downtrodden reflecting on recent events. He actually said... "Rufus, I don't know which is worse...not making the Dance (Georgia) or losing to Oral Roberts. I SAID ORAL ROBERTS." Now I wanna be clear...I did NOT feel sorry for him...but I chose not to rub it in.... Obviously...I'm mellowing...(Smile). Had he also been a Lowndes fan......well...
