Fans loves funnel cakes too. Do they qualify as fans as well? Denying that the band is apart of the fanbase is idiotic again. There were more fans at that game than any I've seen in Florida going all the way back to the late 60's. You don't have to like it to respect it. SJR 04
Best crowd ive experienced was Vigor vs Blount high school in Mobile Alabama. I've been to BNU games that were said to have 10k in attendance which is a lot in the north east where we do not have stadiums, however ive never witnessed an atmosphere like Blount vs Vigor. I've goy to believe whatever is the counties total population is also the amount of people in attendance. I was amazed at how its a family event. Not only were the men in my family there tailgating, roasting a huge pig but ALL of the women in my family attended (i mean ALL! Even the 87yr old grandmother) and it seemed the same for most of the families. The Bands were amazing as well. The football wasn't as good as i had anticipated but the game was great, and it was no doubt a heated rivalry.

It's common sense. Saying the band is a part of the fan base would be like saying that the cheerleaders are fans too. Or the support staff. People who are required to be there as part of their job (or extracurricular activity) are not fans. See this is what happens when you decide to hate someone (me) first rather than adopt reason. You're forced to say incredibly stupid and silly things.

You're now arguing that band members are part of the fan base.
