Ga96
exit poll data shows that more than 70% of young voters preferred Democrats in Arizona, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. And more than 60% of young voters preferred Democrats in Georgia and Ohio. This matches what I've been seeing from early vote data.
Nolebull813
It just means they are easily manipulated. People tend to get more conservative as they get older. You have to remember these kids just got out of an indoctrination Boot Camp. 2

Slotback Right
Not to mention that Biden effectively bought their votes with that student loan forgiveness bribe. 1

Which we ALL know is way, way different and nowhere near the same thing as buying your vote with promises of a tax cut. Or a border wall. Nope, not the same thing at all because those are things I want 😆

My post merely explained the youth vote.

GoBigBlack
Young people and old people have different priorities. Surely the complete lack of any plans to solve anything whatsoever wasn’t the reason. Nor was it that today’s youth that have seen their peers get slaughtered at school and undergo active shooter drills while republicans, once again, have zero plan and take zero action. And it definitely wasn’t the decades of climate change denial that helped lead to the fucked up planet they’re inheriting along with, you guessed it, a complete lack of any plan or action whatsoever. It also wasn't Republicans trying to control women’s bodies or their treatment of minorities and the LGBTQ community. None of those were reasons young people voted against MAGA. Definitely not. It was strictly due to the promise of forgiveness on a portion of student loan debt… the majority of which is owned by those in the 35-49 age range. That’s why people aged 18-29 showed up against you. Yup, you sure nailed it.
