Texasball
They also have the #1 offense in the country They also beat the #2 and #3 ranked offense in the country with same defense you are laughing at GA has + 163 total yards per game average over the teams they played OU has + 198 total yards per game average over the teams they played The above is factory in yards the defense gives up per average. I actually enjoy SEC Football - However, for the most part the offensive schemes are much easier to defend The same type OU teams have had recent success vs Alabama and Auburn 20 points vs ND 24 points vs SC 17 and 28 vs AUB You guys will lose if you don't score more than that. GA also had a weak ass schedule - No Alabama - No LSU Got trucked by Auburn the first time and got Auburn the 2nd time coming off the high of beating arch rival Alabama. (don't sleep on the advantage of playing Auburn 1 week after they beat Alabama!

aZjimbo
OU defense is the worst of the final 4. But that offense can score from anywhere. This should be a great game. I'll be rooting for the Sooners.

Itll be the #4 D vs #1 And the #36 O vs #57 D GA is #8 in Pass Efficiency Defense, & #2 in Passing Yards allowed... + #12 in Rushing Defense. Saying the offensive schemes are easier to defend and the offensive schemes are simpler are 2 different things. While some SEC offenses may be simpler, the majority are also more physical... So NOT as easy to defend.

Howd that work out.. Like the rest of their schedule wasnt gurbige. Of course Miami showed us its easy to lose to garbage... Finishing the season losing to Pittsburgh 24-14, & getting killed by Clemson 38-3.

Mayfield is way better than the other 2 QBs you talking about - this dude has Game! They have quality skill kids. I wouldn't just believe because Georgia is SEC - They will automatically beat this OU team.

Just don't be shocked if it's not as easy as you believe. What about OU's ability to run the ball? It's very possible that it will be OUs offense that controls the clock with a more balanced offense. Bottom line this will be interesting game to say how they really match up with one another.
Texasball
Didn't 6-6 TCU have legit chance to beat Georgia last year? I know TCU was winning 23-21 going into 4th

That's why I'm fairly certain that they're overrated at #3.

Which is really only true in the case of Bradford in 2008. The Oklahoma team that LSU 'tamed" lost 35-7 to Kansas State in their previous outing. LSU beats them 21-14 in a semi-home game at the Superdome and you cream yourself?

I picked them because I think it's more probable that those teams will win.
