NYHSFAN33
Guiliani is definitely past his prime as a forward facing personality. However, do you guys remember what NYC was like before he was Mayor? The Dinkins years? 1

Would have been a great addition to the defense team in his prime but he’s not an asset these days.

Thank God for Koch, he put that city on the path to recovery which Rudy (as all politicians) took credit for.

Rudy still had a mess to clean up IMO.

Great US Attorney no doubt, mayor, not so much, as a person, real garbage. IMHO of course.

The redevelopment of Times Square was key. That was Koch. The crime improvement was in no way unique to NYC. All cities enjoyed a plummeting crime rate as the crack plague faded. Giuliani's real success? Getting the homeless off the street. It was a perfect political move as inhumane and illegal as it was. All New Yorkers could see a change and this is why most everyone thinks Giuliani cleaned up the city. In all fairness, he took ownership after 911.I have nothing but praise for him in this one regard.

Rudy got a lot of credit from the "National Crime Bill" that Clinton signed that allowed NYC to hire a lot of cops....that's what cleaned up NYC.... You have got to be kidding with this shit!!! Everybody knows that Reagan taped that National Crime Bill into the top left drawer of the desk in the oval office and Clinton just got lucky when the tape adhesive gave out one time when he opened the drawer in search of a condom. Shit. Get real bro!

Reagan get's credit for that stuff man. No way Biden did that. It fell onto Clinton's hand when he was opening the drawer. Clinton passed it to Biden, who promptly sponsored the bill and then Bill signed it with Reagan guiding his hand. Jesus Christ! You guys!
