To put this into perspective Katy Seven Lakes would be the 53rd fastest School in DIV I T&F and The Woodlands would be 71st tied with Arizona. Katy Seven Lakes is faster than Ole Miss, Auburn, SC and Miss St in the SEC 🤣 This is where out mix up comes in. I was only referring to the 4 SEC schools. If Ole miss, Auburn, SC and Miss st were running in those insane winds yesterday, their times would be better. Also you think they would let high school kids beat them seriously? Here is your quote sir on my post where I posted the big 12 you said they would lose to all those schools. And then you addressed the 3 SEC schools. And you stressed no way they would let HS kids beat them. So I guess both I and @westbankeagle have no idea what you mean. SC and Ole Piss are still slower than them and we know they are faster than 6 Big 12 Teams. So what were you saying. Clearly your 1st sentence was about the Big 12 Schools. These teams run these times 1 time and you had 3.6 and 3.2 winds on the day but the winds weren't insane. They ran faster because all of them are in one Meet unlike regionals. This is the cream going at it. They didn't cut half seconds off their times if you check their previous times. You do realize that John Tyler went from a 41.3 to 40.69 in their Regional when they met up with other faster Teams. These teams times increased because of the Competition. Why are most World Records in the Sprints broken at the Olympics? Take Laredo United the Slowest school from the Slowest Region IV. Believe me I know the State. They ran a 41.61 their previous fastest time was 42.08 because no one in that Region could compare. Their time dropped each meet of the Season. Why is that. Texasball
Remember that Barnes beat Schwartz head to head in Boston last year The 6A 100m was wind legal 0.4. Carter from The Woodlands dropped 10.22 the 2nd best Wind legal time this year so far. schwartz ran 10.13 with perfect 2.0 wind. Magically that’s two years running that he got that perfect 2.0 reading what happens if Carter had another 1.6? point is all these dudes are fast. I say just enjoy the great sport and let’s hope these young men have chance to compete against each other on down the road. Barnes and Carter are just now starting to hit on all cylinders. They both played Basketball and Barnes team won the State Championship- so he was really late getting started.
