I love the Denmark has universal healthcare or socialism works in Sweden arguments......

which both fail to mention so much including population size.

Oh, so their migrant policy would work even though it is different size than us. But the healthcare system would not.

Total idiot.

For the amount of taxes we pay (more than most nations on earth), we should be afforded basic universal healthcare. But I am sure you would rather enjoy your high premiums and ObamaCare.

Idiot.

I doubt you have even been to any other countries.

They are coming here for work. There is a demand for their labor.

Just like their is a demand for drugs. Especially in your state 😎

So wait you don't  think there will be technological advancements in the farming industry to reduce human capital demand in the next decade or 2?

Universal Healthcare was never about compassion..... it was all about control.

You control  healthcare you control the people.... right out of the Saul Alinsky playbook (who I'm sure you don't know is or read any of his teachings)

There has been already. And there is still a MASSIVE demand for human labor.

Have you ever been through CAs central valley? You have no clue. It's comical.

You live in a state that collects a massive amount of welfare, yet you want to focus on those who are actually working and contribution to our economy? Comical.

Enjoy the welfare while those people work.

LMFAO so going to the doctor or having access to treatment is controlling you?

You are really drinking the Fox News kool aid.

You WANT to pay hundreds of thousands for a hospital stay or thousands for premiums? You would PREFER that?

Free or affordable wouldn't be good?

But I liked my doctor.... why couldn't I keep him like I was promised?

Oh that's right Obama didn't give a fuck about you or I's healthcare.

He cared about lining his pockets.... 70 mil book deal here, 400k cantor fitzgerald wall st speeches there, sprinkle in a 100 million for Netflix deal for good measure, steal some land in Chicago to build a library for the egomaniac that the people don't want who live there.... that's what good progressives do though huh? Scream about oppression and racism while laughing all the way to the bank ...... What a fraudulent piece of shit.

Remember Obama told the wall street bankers they have made enough money? Well .... when is it that he's made enough? just curious....

Do you really think an Affirmative Action denier, an 08 financial crisis ignoramus, and someone with an  extremely limited analytical capacity like yourself will be able to have an esoteric debate about the economics/challenges regarding our healthcare system?

Surely you jest short bus.

You still haven't answered my question. I will re-ask. Unless I have owned you that bad.

Would you rather pay thousands for premiums for poor care, or get access to affordable or free healthcare, via usage of your tax dollars? Or would you prefer the system we have now which consists or mortgage payments for insurance?

Let me know Trumper.

You still haven't addressed the root cause for why people are coming here.

Until you do- NOTHING will stop them. It will just be a political talking point.

I don't know why you dudes are so against raising wages and getting legal Americans to take these jobs and kill the need for migrant labor.

Because some of them are employers and want the cheap labor, perhaps?

Probably. They all want the cheap labor and cheap prices, but don't want the people here who provide that.

Comical.

The problem is one of externalities as defined in Economic Theory. When you get the benefits of cheap labor (employers), but pick up none of the costs of assimilating them, teaching them English, picking up food stamp costs, etc., there is every incentive for you to keep doing what you are doing. But it is shortsighted and not at all good for society in the long run. What we need are commonsense immigration policies and better wages, job security and benefits at the bottom end of the economic spectrum.

So no to higher wages?

No to Americans taking these jobs that migrants fill?

Just the political "deport everyone and seal the border?"

Cmon.......

Block,

It’s simple. It’s all about doing the right thing. Enforce our nations immigrratoon policies as if they were your own. The market will dictate the rest. If I have to pay a little more because I’ve little Johnny picking lettuce because Hector can’t get the eff in the country because he doesn’t wanna be an American, I’m all for it. It would suck for a while, but the market would eventually settle on a correct price for a head of lettuce. Not rocket science. Get rid of generational welfare and they’ll be people out there willing to not starve to death and will work.

Correct.

Said this earlier but Folsom can’t grasp how free markets work.

He rides the short bus..... so excuse him.

Doesn’t need to, bro. Doesn’t need to. I’m on board.

The thing is that the left thinks that we don’t give a crap about the unfortunate, which is BS! I’m offended by that notion. I’m as empathetic as the next guy, believe you me. I’m all for having TEMPORARY assistance programs that are there to ASSIST the AMERICAN who’s down on his luck and needs help getting back on his feet. And obviously there are people who can’t work who need to be taken care of. I’m all for America “doing its part” on a global scale, but not at the expense of OUR own people who need to be taken care of first. And I’ll be damned if I’ll acknowkedge that living on the government teet is an actual career with the taxpayers as the CEO. Stop the hand outs and people will work...or start starving....then they’ll work. It’s amazing what the human soul will do to survive.

...I know I’m asking a lot. My bad. 🙄
