When you get the benefits of cheap labor (employers), but pick up none of the costs of assimilating them, teaching them English, picking up food stamp costs, etc., there is every incentive for you to keep doing what you are doing. But it is shortsighted and not at all good for society in the long run. I’m all for America “doing its part” on a global scale, but not at the expense of OUR own people who need to be taken care of first.
