Massey has 4 California teams in their top 7 and two California opponents in the top 9 to ...you know... pump up California’s ratings. Some one better get to the bottom of this travesty

Let's discuss further.

How about let's talk about how at CP Folsom's goose egg keeps them at 11 while at Massey the same loss drops them 44 spots.

No artificial elevating each other in a loss.

Masseys poll is pretty much garbage atm... Thats completely ridiculous.

No one on here really pays that much attention, or uses it as some sort of gospel for National Rankings.

Let’s talk about how a team with no offense and according to the GA contingent would get rolled by Colquitt is sitting at 7 after beating a horrible Folsom team ...the outrage

How far will DLS drop after BG beats them by 3 scores.

BG should be gracious because they will get a nice boost because DLS will not have an opponent capable of beating them prior to that game.

The SoCal team that whips them will not be as fortunate because they will be ranked much lower by the final week.

not sure

I've scrolled through and many teams that took losses dropped significant distances. I don't think these teams are tied together at the hip so-to-speak like they are at CP.

What I did notice is that McEachern dropped 48 spots for a 34 point loss while Folsom dropped 44 for a 14 point loss.

DLS moves up 8 spots for the 14 point victory while Colquitt moves up 24 spots for the 34 point victory.

I'm not certain how all of this comes to be but I guess I'm a tad bit interested to follow it for a bit to see how much everyone moves with wins and losses.

Agreed. Makes it hard to take many algorithms seriously. They have no eyes.

Oh if it was Cal Massey you would be paying a whole lot of attention to it

Yeah, not sure. I do wonder how they initially place teams etc.

I definitely like the fact that teams are punished for losses rather than clinging on right around the team that beat them. A loss has to be punished in any ranking imo. A couple of spots drop isn't punishment. It's exactly what gets folks like ECHS digging in to see wtf is going on.

I don’t see him “digging in” to Massey 🤔 I think we know why

HSFA appears to be the most accurate concerning Cali... Not perfect but much better than CP and Massey

1. Mater Dei

3. St. John Bosco

20. De La Salle

24. Corona Centennial

26. Mission Viejo

39. Orange Lutheran (#8 at CalPreps after a 27-7 win over San Juan Hills)

54. Folsom

70. Oaks Christian

Narbonne, Chammy, & Pitt all dropped out.

Massey isnt used on here by posters to prove some point like it actually means something.

And CalPreps makes it EASILY visible to see that it isnt actually doing what it says its doing. Theres too much human input. There is no defense for OLu still being that high with that poor of a BOLDED game performance rating...

Say what you like, but its just you sticking up for the undefendable because it has Californias name in it.

I think the why could be that no one is quoting it as an authority when debating football on here.

I'd imagine that if it was utilized heavier that he would dig into it.

Exactly. Ararar acts like he doesnt realize this.

The problem is, the Cali crew seems to be the ONLY ones who wont admit theres a visible and obvious bias at CalPreps... As ararar said... 🤔 "I think we know why".

Because it overrates their teams! And has the states name in it... Of course they arent going to challenge it.

I see weird stuff in this one too.

Mallard Creek rose 91 spots while not playing a game at all due to weather.

That's a pretty huge rise. Other teams around the same spot rising were U Lab rose 20 spots while not playing also. That seems more realistic an up move as it's possible that many teams lost and fell behind them.

For 91 teams to fall behind Mallard Creek seems a bit odd considering that they rose ahead of teams like U Lab and other teams that lost only falling 7 spots for instance.

This whole tongue in cheek thread is because you go after Cal preps because it’s CAL preps.I have no doubt you would have done the same to Massey if it was CAL Massey. They have just as many anomalies

Cen10 would crush DLS if they played this week.

Idk how any ranking service, human or computer, can rank no offense Sparty above the Huskies.
