ECHS05
Just a quick heads up... The Brookwood GA that Florida beat was the GISA team, not the GHSA 7A team from Gwinnett Co.

Could have thrown Thomasville to specify

Escambia was pounding them 35-0 at halftime. Curtis was in a 4 quarter war with them pulling away at the last second 29-3. Escambia and Curtis were the only undefeated teams in the New Orleans Catholic League. Voters voted Escambia the champion, and with Escambia beating Shaw worse than Curtis did cements their League Title.

Sammyswordsman
Nolebull13 is tryna make the point that Fla is no longer trending down. Such as they were last year. From my perspective I don’t count the Fla vs Ga games as OOS unless they involve Top 5-10 teams from each state playing each other

North Gwinnett and Buford seem to be the only ones with a chance. And the way Rome has been playing I can't see Buford beating them. Cardinal Gibbons has the best chance even though they got a tough road. Lincoln and Dr Phillips are not title contenders. But that's why they play the game!! Not sure if anyone saw this but the other night college football live ran a bit on the downfall of Florida football. The college teams are so bad they're breaking all kinds of terrible records. They discussed how the irony is that all of this happening while the talent production edge they have on the rest of the country has widened. Shows how fubar that state's football actually is. Cali and TX will whip FL ass in HS as will plenty of other top teams from other states vs their top teams but as I've said before Cali and TX have the best teams and GA isnt far behind. The lack of coaching, discipline and QB play in FL is actually something to behold.....quite possibly the worst in the nation so the teams are really nothing special
