golfaddict1
#Freemanratingsbump GA is not PA and IL anymore... time to boost that in-state sos scale and let GA play ball with the other powers.

Talking Top 50 teams in State Rating Average atleast (how CP rates states). Behind Virginia, and even North Carolina. I will say for you thats ridiculous. Take notice Ned. Georgia with more Draft picks than ANY State in America. LA tied at 5th with Ohio. Whilst Ohio is 4th (ridiculously high Top 50 rating average) at CP and LA sits at 5. zulu1128
Because using lists of guys 4-6 years removed from high school is really the best metric for measuring the strength of HSFB teams.

Nobody is saying that. The BEST measuring stick? No. But there is a connection. Theres a reason the perceived best states are at the top of these lists. You know if Ohio had finished 1st youd be stroking yourself in the bathroom right now.

I'm just glad we avoided that decline that you've been yapping about for 3 years. Anyway...you keep after Ned and straighten his ass out. I wonder if Los saw that Corn Elder was drafted. . He was fun to watch back in HS and stuck w football.
TheRealCAJ
Being compared to Ohio is really not that impressive anyways honestly...it's a dying state. No big deal really that a swamp state of 4.5 million can hang with a state with almost 12 million in NFL production and whatnot.

Yearby would have had a pretty good OL to run behind had he stayed put. Crap shoot sometimes and $ and RB expiration dates have to be considered too. Doesnt look like either has a UDFA signing as of yet. I'd expect both to land one next week. Surprised Artavis Scott didn't land anywhere. Likely another UDFA signing to be soon. Oops Scott was signed by the Bolts. Missed that.
ECHS05
While Georgia at the High School level had a great Draft. UGA did not. Of course this is because UGA didnt lose many seniors. UGA had 1 player drafted... WR Isaiah McKenzie (out of AH-Plantation HS in FL) to the Denver Broncos. He was nicknamed the "Human Joystick". Guy should be a solid slot WR in the NFL. I bet the NE Patroits couls utilize the shit out of him. Other UGA players to sign as UDFA... OT Tyler Catalina signed with the Redskins. Catalina was a graduate of Rhode Island, where he started 3 years. He came to UGA to play out his final year of eligibility. S Quincy Mauger has signed with the Atlanta Falcons. Mauger was teammates at Kell with Draftee Brendan Langley. The 2 came to UGA together but Langley was kicked out of UGA and landed at Lamar before he was drafted. C Brandon Kublanow has signed with the Baltimore Ravens. Kublanow played for Walton, which was the GA 5A Runner Ups in 2011... losing to that loaded Grayson team 24-0 in the finals. Grayson was led by studs like Robert Nkemdiche & Wayne Gallman... Nkemdiche was drafted in the 1st round last year, and Gallman was drafted this year. OT Greg Pyke signs with the Buffalo Bills. Pyke was from "The Boys' Latin School" in MD. At one point in 2015, he was called "The Best Interior OL in College Football" by NFL.com. Not sure what happened to him but after former UGA OL Coach Will Friend left... Pyke was never the same. DB Maurice Smith, who transferred from Alabama to UGA for his Senior Season, has signed with the Miami Dolphins.

He became a good buddy of mine my last couple of years at UGA. He's a good dude and very humbled. So props Greg! Idk if you guys know it or not, but he was a highly ranked 5* lacrosse player out of high school. That is surprising to many because of his size. ECHS05
Gator... Florida & Georgia are again #1 & #2... when just the year before last, in 2015, Florida was #1 with 39, and Georgia was #2 with 30... CA and TX were tied for 3rd with 27 a piece. The Florida/Georgia Region is just where the talent is. The Southeastern states of Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Louisiana, Tennessee, Mississippi & South Carolina had 93 total together.
