Nolebull813
Sorry. Just because they dented in a top Louisiana team doesn’t mean they will win state. This was the best OOS team Louisiana team played this year and wasn’t even competitive. Maybe West Monroe and Zachary will tangle for the title while Deerfield and Longview are sitting at home for the holidays. The promoter for the BoB said DFB and Longview need to play because no one in Louisiana can compete. True story

Shore by a FG. However, the Lobos did blast a decent Rockwall team 49-3.
rockinl
Longview is just a little ole hick school. Everyone knows that only Metroplex schools are worthy of receiving praise. Yep, Longview sucks. Only the "big boys" have 10 tough reg season games every year.
Champa
Spring Westfield lost to Longview 14 - 0 last year in the playoffs. They just didn't have an offense once their starting QB got injured for the entire 2018 season. Defense was great. If they can get anything out of their offense this year while maintaining the same type of defense, they will be a threat.

RedZone
What about Denton Guyer...they gong D2 this year? https://www.maxpreps.com/high-schools/guyer-wildcats-(denton,tx)/football/home.htm
Guest
Top challengers would be in order: 1) Westfield 2) Westlake 3) Guyer 4) West Brook Now, there are other D2 teams that are good but those 4 will probably have most say so. Tompkins is another, but we don't know if they will be D2 or D1 yet. 7 Lakes against Mayde Creek this week will fully determine that. If Mayde wins, Tompkins all but confirmed D1 bound. If 7 Lakes wins, Tompkins inching closer to D2.

Quite a few starters for NS didn’t play vs Westfield. Shadrach banks and Evans being the biggest names.
RedZone
West Brook is 7-0, but they have had some scares......not feeling West Brook. Guyer vs Longview would be a great match-up.

Champa
West Brook and Westlake are both overrated. We'll see tomorrow how overrated WB is or isn't. I haven't seen Guyer to know much about them. I'm sure good old Westfield "luck" with come into play at some point in the playoffs and that'll be it for them. RedZone
Guyer had a bit of a shootout vs Southlake losing 46-34. Only loss for Guyer.
