RedZone
Clemson this year will NO doubt have the weakest SOS of any college football playoff team ever....part of that is due to the fact the ACC is barely a Power 5 League this year....probably be the same next year. ..looking ahead. In 2020 and 2021. Clemson OOC games. 2020: Akron, Citadel, Notre Dame, 2021: South Carolina State, Wyoming, and UConn. Of course South Carolina both years, but that's a given. Come on, man!!
RedZone
The ACC is now solidly behind the AAC. It's 11/11, Los.... http://realtimerpi.com/college_football/ncaaf_conf_Men.html

The other part of it is that they played 2 SEC teams in the non-conference. Also, I doubt it's worse than Washington's schedule in 2017. Doesn't really matter. You probably thought they had a weak SOS last year, too, and they only beat Alabama by eleventy billion points.

The point is/was why worry about SOS then?...... Is there now the "Clemson SOS Rule"?

Their SOS is better than Clemson's. Answer: No Because the AAC is deemed inferior when in reality it's really not...especially this year. 1
frankyjames
This is no different than Alabama's and OSU non league schedules this year. Both of them just benefit from conference teams that they are forced to play.

Cincinnati's schedule is garbage. FAU played Ohio State tougher than Cincinnati did.

You're obsessed with one team while ignoring the "rule" being applied to others as well. Alabama's schedule sucked last year too and they got in the playoff anyway. Clemson has played 2 SEC teams in their non-conference the last two years and, yet, you're saying that their schedule sucks.
