Just wait. After the utter idiocy of what happened at the North Gwinnett game, that number is bound to rise.

One kid in our band tested positive. However, since we were socially distanced at the football game, no one else got it. Talk about execution!

Already has. He just posted lies as usual. Ive seen some games canceled this week already.

Colquitt is shut down for the first two games. Blessed Trinity is shut down for the first two games. Mill Creek.

No corona spread. xD

There is community spread. Don't be stupid.

Same idiots were asking where the spread was from Sturgis. A quick Google will show you now that there have been numerous cases tracked back to it now.

It takes some time to track back to events like this. I wouldn't go touting none and yada yada this early on.

You saw that North Gwinnett student section. What a disgrace to mankind. And here's why I say that:

I mentioned in a leadership meeting about the need for administrators to comb through the student section during games and help separate people. I was told that that happened during the game, but the kids starting getting violent and started pushing and throwing things at the administrators. The admins had to leave for their own safety.

Knowing this from a reliable source (our Vice Principal), I am ashamed to be associated with North's Nuts (student section name). Thank god I'm in the band, where we know how to keep safe.

So, what is the repercussions of that activity for the student section? Will they be allowed to gather like that at the next game as well?

I was impressed at how the band and team were set up for North Gwinnett at that game. Of course the fans, not so much.

At the moment, it is likely that they will likely be allowed to do the same next time (especially considering it's Senior Night and against Parkview). However, I strongly suggested police presence and I probably will suggest to the AD to stop the game like they did in Utah. People will hate for it, but it's the right thing to do.

Man do we even know how this covid gets transmitted, I heard if your taking a piss it can go thru the sewer pipes right up into your house and you can get it

It damn well have worked. Cost $9000 for those extra stands.

This is proof to everyone that this stuff works. The kid tested positive but we're still allowed to have practice because we were all distanced at the game. Imagine if this had happened in the student section...

At Colquitt the deputies on site will escort rowdy students from the stadium. I'm not totally sure but I think there are possible repercussions at school following issues at an extracurricular activity like a game.

I've seen the cops go into the Colquitt Crazies and remove kids several times.

I went to the Archer-Lowndes game and sat behind the student section. One administrator was able to keep every socially distanced most of the time. ONE.

I wish they would do the same at our games. Here's what's even worse: the student section leaders are BOTH heads of an extremely selective leadership organization at our school. That organization selects 6 people out of a school of 3000. If they can't be responsible, how can we even trust them to make the big decisions at our school? Very pissed at that, too.

You get it from breathing down each other's mouth bro. That's the number one way. Secondarily you can pick it up from touching objects and then picking your nose, rubbing your eyes or locking you fingers, but, it lives shorter time on objects in the heat and sunlight so that type transmission has slowed during the summer.

That student section at North Gwinnett, those kids were breathing down each others mouths. Yelling down them and etc. If one kid had the virus the few kids in direct proximity almost certainly contracted it. Hopefully none had it.

Lies? Footballscoop is reporting on it. Usually a good source for football news

I think that data could be premature to an extent. I can dig that Utah hasn't seen spread. I've watched several of their games and they are making sure social distancing measures are being followed for the most part, so, it makes sense they aren't seeing spikes.

For instance, overall in the games I've watched in Georgia there has been a mixed bag of social distancing and enforcement. I think it's too early to say for the states that only have 2 weeks in.

None that I know of on the team. Everyone is supposed to be quarantined, so, there shouldn't be further spread among the team. Of course that is if the kids are heeding the quarantine like they're supposed to.

Developing situation in the band: multiple kids (myself included) may have been exposed. Waiting on more information.

Literally hate how this happens to us and not the irresponsible student section. It's not confirmed though.

This is the situation we have been seeing at Colquitt where it's impossible to be socially distanced at all times. Meetings, weight lifting, drills and etc. are all tough to do without any contact. This is why numerous kids are being pulled at a time for quarantine when a positive case shows up and then there is tracing done. Then when another kid or two or three outside of the quarantined group show up positive, they think they've missed someone in the tracing so they quarantined the entire team.

I hope you guys don't suffer that.
