Marietta allowed Woodstock to play slow down ball in the first. Finally when Marietta really started running the court it took Woodstock out of the game. Nothing kills a half court team like hitting 3s and Marietta did late 2nd quarter. Marietta got sloppy late but was a much better looking team. 90% of state champs run fast break offense and dribble drive motion now days. Girls basketball used to be who had the most girls over 6ft. now it is who has at least 3 good guards. So many great girls team play a 4 guard line up now with a center.
