The Colonel
One of the greatest ever. Before UCLA, Robinson was named to the All-Southland Junior College Baseball all-star team and was MVP. He was also a heck of a tennis player. He won the singles championship at the junior boys championship in the annual Pacific Coast Negro Tennis league when he was at Muir High School in Pasadena.
