I think four of the national games BG plays this year are pretty legit and diverse enough to give us a good measuring stick to see if they really are "pretenders" or not. Changing the subject and inserting STA into a non-STA topic. Bravo.

BUT...BG is a football factory that's probably at least 2 deep at every position. They won't be the team of the past 2 years, but I'm willing to bet that they are good enough to go 4-0 against that slate. Will they? Remains to be seen. They won't be a 2nd tier program, but they won't be the BG of the last 3 years. More in line with the 2010/2011 BG teams.

Servite was much better in 2011 than 2012. They actually were the best team in division 1 in reality. Not so much in 2012 2011 Servite 42 Santa Margarita 35 (division 1 champ)

Few bad turnovers deep in cocoa territory on goal line and tarean folston was the difference. Cocoa did beat Trinity Christian Academy last year and gave a top 10 Saint Edwards team all they can handle in Ohio previous year after taking bus ride when flights were renigged on by Hercules sports management (I think I read that?) cocoa deserves more respect than you give them. But that's your deal .... no one plays good football outside of California In your world.

Pops
Don't know what BG's OL was like in '11 or '12 but believe they were all 280#+ D1 guys (mostly seniors) in '10 and, yes, Powell > starks
