Goes to show, OOS don't mean diddly here.

Georgia fans are now adopting all of the lame Texas arguments.

They don't mean diddly because you don't play any meaningful ones.

Georgia's MO on these message boards for at least the last two years has been pumping their teams up and then using their undefeated records as proof of their excellence.

Of course they're undefeated because they're untested.

Nobody is thinking all year about that one or 2 OOS games.

How can you think about 2 OOS games when most all of their teams don't play them?

This is a simple concept.

The bulk of said team returned in 2013 and lost 55-0 to open the season.

So you posted a video showing that Lovejoy blew a 14-3 lead to a team whose remnants lost their next game 55-0.

If we have to choose between Lovejoy being very good or Norcross being overrated we're going to choose Norcross because that's what the evidence suggests.

The dynamic and leadership of Norcross from 2012 to 2013 was completely different.

Norcross won their 1st every state title and got lazy, read their headlines all offseason, etc...  its not the 1st time thats happened to a team that experienced REAL success for the 1st time.

The offense was completely different in 2013 from 2012, and so was the secondary.

They didnt just lose to the eventual National Champs in 2013, they lost to North Gwinnett 36-17 in the 3rd game of the season also. Which they came back to beat in the state title, 31-14.

The bulk of the OL and LBs returned... 1 DB and 1 WR returned...

The biggest difference was...

4* RB Alvin Kamara was gone and replaced by a Senior transfer that was playing in his 1st game ever for Norcross. If you knew anything about Norcross... its that Alvin Kamara was the heart and soul of this team, it began and ended with him.

QB Joseph Wilbur was gone and replace by a Senior transfer that was playing in his 1st game ever for Norcross. He was a completely different kind of QB than AJ Bush ... Wilbur was a much better PP than AJ Bush...

3* WR Clinton Lynch, who is a star at Georgia Tech right now, was on that 2013 team but Did Not Play vs Booker T. Washington... in the 2013 State Championship game vs North Gwinnett Lynch had 7 receptions for 158 yards... and right at 1,000 receiving yards on the season...

All starting WRs but Clinton Lynch left.

Their best DB, KR, and PR, 3* CB Shon Akins, graduated after the 2012 season...originally committed to UCLA but attended MTSU... all but 1 other DB graduated.

The 2012 team was completely different in mindset and leadership... and the strengths of each team were different.

So why should your argument about their OOS schedule and record matter?

Quite simple.

They don't have OOS schedules.

They play weak Georgia regular season schedules.

Then we are told that all the 13-0 teams in the semifinal are elite.

It's Georgia's MO.

This is cute but they were losing by two scores in the 4th quarter of the last game in 2012.

Then they lost 55-0 in their opener in 2013.

A pattern has emerged that they weren't an elite team.

So why are you trying to use Lovejoy's LOSS to them as evidence of something?

How do you know this?

I love when people insert these kind of details about things that they couldn't possibly know.

Uh yeah. They were overrated. You're just providing more evidence of that.

They won the 6A title just like they did in 2012.

But your attempt to insert your tried and true "Kamara" defense is cute.

How has this been proven?

In the last two years 7 of the 8 participants in the state semifinals were 13-0.

Not because they were all elite but because they didn't play anybody until they played each other.

This means nothing.

STA loses to a team that isnt very good every year. So apparently it isnt that easy to go undefeated...

2016 - STA loses to 4-loss BTW

2015 - STA loses to #20 in FL Deerfield Beach 6-3... Grayson showed you how to beat them last year, 39-14... a team Flanagan also beat in 2015 17-0, and even "#666" Bolles defeated 35-15

2014 - STA lost by 17 to DBP... a team it was a good bit more talented than... this game cause you to abandon the forum for 4 months out of shame

2013 - Aquinas loses 3 games... again to a Non-Top 500 team Deerfield Beach, they also lost to Miramar and Dwyer...

2012 - Aquinas lost to a Non-Top 500 team, Miramar...

So for the last 5 years... Aquinas has lost to teams that really arent that good... apparently it isnt so easy to be undefeated

And now you'll change the subject because you can't win otherwise.

(Not that you'll win on this either)

A pattern emerged? They won that last game in 2012.

That loss in 2013 was a completely different team. Its also a small sample size, 1 single game... and you just finished arguing against small sample sizes.

This 2013 Norcross team that played BTW did not have their best player, Alvin Kamara. They did not have their QB. They had 2 1st year Transfers starting. Their best WR did not play and they lost all but 1 in the secondary. This is normally a problem early.  4* ATH Myles Autry was also still trying to recover from his ACL tear (hes the one that fumbled the ball 3 times vs BTW) ... and never really got going until the 8th or 9th week in 2013.

It might be why Norcross lost to North Gwinnett 36-17, and came back to beat them on game 15, 31-14.

Facts are facts. I know they usually bump heads with your everyone sucks mantra.

And one year a team lost 55-0

shit happens 😝

The 2012 team beat North Gwinnett 31-21.

The 2013 team lost to North Gwinnett just 2 weeks after the BTW game 36-17. Not a single 1 of the offensive skill players that played vs BTW in 2013, started in 2012. Because they had a 1st year transfer at QB, a 1st year at RB (for their 2012 star Alvin Kamara), their star WR did not play vs BTW...

How many teams beat the eventual National Champs... arent committing 4 turnovers... 2 that go directly into the EZ for a TD and another inside tbe teams 10... and also have a Punt Blocked into the EZ for a TD given up.

The only skill player that returned from 2012, that played vs BTW... was Myles Autry, who still wasnt the same after his ACL tear... he didnt do very well in any game until week 8 or 9.

And looked inept doing it.

Losing by two scores in the 4th quarter as an undefeated favorite.

A truly elite team would've killed that Lovejoy team.

A pattern can't come from one result.

Hence why I used the 2012 Lovejoy game (and the other 2013 loss to North Gwinnett).

Even if this was true (which it isn't) I'd still be more right than your "everybody is good" mantra.
