In North Carolina, the 18-29 vote is only 5.4% of this year’s EV, as opposed to over 16% in 2020. Also down in Georgia as a % of EV. In July, the inflation rate dropped by 0.6% from June, from a year-over-year Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 9.1% to 8.5%. Core inflation, which takes out highly volatile food and fuel costs to give a better sense of trends, was also slower than economists had expected. It only rose 0.3% in July, compared to 0.7% in June. Good news for Americans is that average gas prices nationwide, which have fallen for 58 consecutive days, are almost back to $4 per gallon, after reaching a high of $5 per gallon in June. It is because they are becoming what they always said the GOP was, a party that talked only about social issues. They are divorced from reality. They deny inflation, they deny crime. Even Hispanic and now even some black voters are like WTF? They pissed away the rural and blue collar vote long ago.
