Found it'self behind 14-7, after they had given yet another gift to it's opponent! THEN, an apparent transformation occurred!(I wish I could have been a fly on the wall for THIS halftime chat) Colquitt comes out of the locker room, and promptly proceeds down the field, seventy yards in THREE PLAYS for the score to make it 14-13!(Ty Leggett turns an apparent three yard loss, into a sixty plus yard catch and run to the three) Two plays later, they score! THEN, off sides Tucker on the PAT! And Coach ProPst opts to go for two, which failed for a 14-13 deficit! Unfazed, Colquitt's BLACK HAT D forces a punt, and here HOG AIR comes again! In short order, it's 21-14, after a nifty two point conversion throw back to Krajewski, waiting for the throw in the corner of the end zone! THEN, after another short possession, Tucker is forced to punt again! And here comes Ty Leggett to do the damage on the ground with a gaping hole on the left side of the line! In four and a half minutes, Colquitt had gone from 14-7 down, to a 28-14 lead, on the #1 6A team in the state! This young Colquitt team forced the odds on favorite to win the state title, into a faked punt, and a failed onside kick during the contest! As an aside, Krajewski was 21-25, for 260 yards and three TD's in the game! And 13 for 13 in the third quarter, for 160 yds. and three TD's! TY Leggett rushed for a team high 125 yds. and one score! And Tucker, a prolific Wing T team, was forced into a near total passing game as the game wore on, due to Colquitt minimizing their damage on the ground. Both of Tucker's offensive scores were due to grabs by their four star WR going to South Carolina! THIS Colquitt front seven, is going to make life pretty miserable for anyone opting for a ground game! They had better be balanced or it's gonna be NIGHT NIGHT! HEY NUMB NUTS, 2017 was supposed to be the REBUILDING year for Colquitt, in the next SIX SEASONS! Of Colquitt's top fifty player rotation last night, SIX are seniors! In 2018, send whomEVER you want from SOCAL, regardless of how intense your creative playa acquisitions may be! We'll send um back in a BODY BAG! He didn't have any issue with taking a 65-35 loss against future national champion South Panola, with one of his weakest teams during his tenure in Moultrie!
