I haven't kept up too much with Noel Dean personally... 

Idk what he's doing or has done but he most certainly isn't winning but thats not entirely his fault... 

Thats been a problem going on before him. 

Tift County has too many and I mean way too many hands in the cookie jar in the football program from the Susans and Karens to the Kevins and Carls... 

Thats just part of it though... 

As for fundraising on the coaches personal accounts... 

Come on now... 

Nobody told this man no? 

Nobody thought that was suspicious? 

Wayne County literally had this same issue not that long ago with coach Jody Grooms and his wife taking money from the Program and the Yellow Jackets still havent recovered fully... 

The problem with Tift County in general is the old heads dont know how to let go and let someone new take over... 

They still wanna act like this is the glory years and its not...

Other thing is they brought this man from Michigan to Georgia... 

He coached Lowell HS in Michigan from 1996-2015. And I'll be real... 

I dont think he was ready for the competition he was gonna have to face... 

Looking into Lowell under Coach Dean his school would have fluctuated between 3A-4A if they where in GA during his tenure.... 

He jumped from a small-Mid sized school to a Large GA school and the competition is vastly different... 

The thing that Tift County BOE refuses to do is take time and search for a decent large school coach.... 

They take the cheap way out every freaking time... even when I was attending...

Same thing is happening at Lowndes as far as the good ole boys. The majority of the players staying and the ghsa recruiting eye on south ga is the only reason lowndes is surviving. We had folks campaigning for the win t and jason tone just because he was an assistant under randy mac. Valdosta has the same problem but most of their rats have jumped off the ship.

I'm not sure who will want to come coach tift. I've seen some fans mention names but that's about it. If they can luck up maybe they can get matt debuc from Fl. He wants to coach in south Ga and has applied for Lowndes Valdosta and Colquitt in the last.

This sounds like the same folks who removed the coach at Colquitt, about six years ago. Don't they know that this dude is from Michigan, and is a member of the Michigan Hall of Fame? All he needs to do to get into the GHSA HOF is, find him a school North of the gnat line, and recruit him some championships with the GHSA's liberal acquisition polices in the ATL.

These folk need to give Coach Dean some slack. After all, he needs those funds to finance the tuitions of his three kids who attend Haaavard, and Grand Valley State.🙄

Every coach in America, not named Texas, wants a gig in South Georgia. They are paid pauper's wages in the Sunshine State and elsewhere.

Just an example Buford HC makes 200K... thats including after paying the staff.... 

Lowndes HC makes about 175K... 

HS Coaches do try to get here... 

And none of that includes playoff and championship bonuses

There is quite a few HS's in GA  that pay 100K+ for HC's

Hell I'd take one that does 90k+

But the ones that do 100K+ are usually pedigree schools/programs

The Middle GA area 

Houston HS (Warner Robins,GA)-111K 

Northside (Warner Robins,GA)- 110K 

Warner Robins (GA) HS-119K 

Veterans HS (Warner Robins,GA) 100K 

But Warner Robins is also a big Military community...

Supposed to be a state rule but the way the ghsa is its only for south Ga.

"Recruiting and Undue Influence is defined as the use of influence by any person connected directly or
indirectly with a GHSA school to induce a student of any age to transfer from one school to another, or to
enter the ninth grade at a member school for athletic or literary competition purposes, whether or not the
school presently attended by the student is a member of the GHSA."

I was surprised to find out Berrien pays over 100k.
