I agree as on that issue he ignores "article 4 sect 4" of our constitution...... His purported compassion, at times, dismisses states rights and the constitution...That is why many says he's a socialist...

states rights?..constitution?...means nothing to him...he doesn't govern with man's laws in mind...only for the greater good of mankind...the way it should be IMO...

his job is to speak up on issues he feels needs to be addressed IMO... and when the leader of the free world is spreading his "fake" news propaganda around the world it is very dangerous!...as dictators around the world are following Donny example....Dangerous Donny....O.o

The Pope has enough issues in his own backyard. He's treading where he should not be. Let him clean up his own house before lecturing.

That may be correct, but I mean separation of Church and State.. And when his speech was read in full, which I did, the Pope meant the greater good..Religious  leaders get into politics usually means anger, resentment or worse...... Muslim religious leaders historically, have started nightmares when involved in politics...Look,Christ was killed for shaming the powerful in politics of the Temple and archaic rules of the elders, among other things...

I'm all about separation of church and state...I don't think he's getting into politics at all...I think the point of his speech was to try and protect the TRUTH vs. lies a.k.a "fake news"....he talked about how harmful it is when one plays with the truth....amen!

and that's the name of Donny's game unfortunately...he's told over 2,000 lies since he's been Pres. and averages over 5 a day...the Pope sees the harm a lying leader can do and the harm it can bring to the free press in their pursuit of the truth....their job.

Obviously georgeboy66 does not read much because the Pope has talked about just about every political issue including the hoax called global warming.

every issue huh?..I know he criticized Bush's trickle down economics plan because of it's proven bad effect on the poor...again..that's doing his job...advocating for the poor....global warming isn't political IMO...it's a global issue...and most of the world is in agreement...he's advocating for a clean planet...again...doing his job...

maybe he shouldn't have any opinion about anything huh James?....just keep silent when he sees things he perceives as bad for mankind?...that's the type of leader you want for your church James?....

He's sticking his nose where he shouldn't and should keep his own house clean before worrying about others. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

What part of your catholic education was most important to you? You attended all the way through college, correct? And you've sent your kids to catholic schools as well? Why?

What are your thoughts on that line in the Bible that pops up a few times about it being easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God? Do you think it means selling possessions and giving to the poor is what we need to do, or that being humble about wealth is the message? On the other hand, have you just chosen not to pay attention to that Word of the New Testament altogether?

Seems President Trump had a very good meeting in Switzerland. Despite all the doom and gloom.

Markel now calling for a better immigration plan and possible borders in Germany. Haha

Trump will be going to the UK and they will welcome him with open arms.  Has to be killing most of you.

Haha douchebagpussy66.

Makes more sense now, that you don't pay any mind to the opinion of the Pope. Fair enough.

The same Pope who's opinion is gays shouldn't be in the clergy? The same Pope who doesn't believe in same sex marriage? The same Pope who's opinion is that it is not the right of a women to choose? That Pope?

Not to attack you warrior I agree with your opinion on the Pope.  He might not believe in same sex marriage but his priests believing in banging lil boys.  I agree he needs to clean up his filthy house.

If that is the beliefs of the Pope, then yes, that Pope. I don't follow everything about him.

Max, I have always wondered how religious people can square some of the things in the bible with how they act.  Seems to be in direct opposition to their actions.

The golden rule comes to mind and it is the most ignored imo.  And most important.

Anyway, great post.
