They were one of the privates that got put in their own league when the publics were tired of the privates winning state titles every other year back in the early 90s. They play in the big school private league (Div II-AAA) with the likes of BA, MBA, Ensworth, Chr. Bros., etc. They finished 8-4 last year, losing to BA twice and MBA. Blessed Trinity smoked them last year 45-19. They did beat Baylor 40-14. McCallie is an up and down team. They are the type of team that will lose to a middle tier public team then turn around and demolish a BA or a MBA the next week (leaving you scratching your head).
