Target raises minimum wage to $12 an hour

Another reason why I chose to shop at Target and boycott Wal-Fart. The stores are nicer, cleaner, and the employees are helpful. They sell the same stuff, if not better stuff, than Wal-Fart.

For you red staters out there, 12 bucks an hour is a living! LOL!

Another victory for the American worker under the Trump presidency.

That said, I'm guesstimating that California will remain #1 in poverty in this great nation.

You understand when you "rage monkey" on every state that doesn't meet your approval or fit your warped agenda you are really raging on America?

Every "state" in America has something wrong with it, you understand that, right?

I agree. It doesn't help much in our beautiful state, but in poor red states like yours, this is a godsend. Maybe it will help bring the red state residents out of welfare?

That is debatable. But I agree it is a good thing. Especially for the southern red states. I am happy for them.

Which is fascinating, given that your home state, "The Poop State", has the worst poverty situation in the country.

You like to talk down your nose, don't you?

Meaning you think you are better than others.

You are nothing more than any other.

And that would be the consensus on this board.

Want to bet ?

1. I am better.

2. My state is better.

3. My city is better.

With that said- I am happy for your southern red states. You guys need some wage boosts. Welfare is killing your states. This is much needed.

Now we see if people in your states get off their ass and work or decide it's easier to stay at home and mooch off us in CA.

Per The San Diego Union-Tribune...

Quote

34% of the nation's welfare recipients live in California, but only 12% of the U.S. population resides here.

Lol 40 million people live in CA.

In contrast with population, 12 percent of people in GA are on food stamps.

10 percent if people in CA are on food stamps.

More people per capita, are on government assistance in the poor, red south.

You can be better but because of your attitude, you are not.

We are waiting for it to fall into the ocean.

You can't get any better than where the heart is....ATL

Like the wonderful cities of San Fran, LA, Holly and so on.

You are what the kids call cray cray.

California is what the rest of the country tries to avoid being.

Poor ass state.

Give those food stamps back.

GA= 12 percent of population on food stamps.

CA=10 percent of people on food stamps.

Time to give some of that money back big boy.

I live in a red state with a lower poverty and homelessness rates than California, a state with 34% of the nation's welfare recipients.

And that isn't The Poop State.

You are from The Poop State.  xD

The poverty-stricken, welfare receiving, homeless overrun Poop State.

You live in a poor red state with more people per capita living off the government than Ca.

It costs money to live in good places with beautiful women and great weather.

I love knowing that I am better than you and live in a better place.

Winning!
