Too funny....someone does not realize that 100 years ago the coins were flipped...

Moron does not even read why....

"was first elected mayor in 1915, and proved to be a progressive, at least on racial matters. Blacks were still loyal to the Party of Lincoln, so Thompson appointed a black assistant corporation counsel and handed out patronage jobs in the Black Belt, where he became known at “Little Lincoln.”

coins flipped, yet always the same pandering corruption from politicians...

BTW: YOU DO remember that Trump was a lifelong Democrat...….don't you?

"pushcart Tony" vs "crooked Hillary" lol

Now you know the real story behind trump's nicknames.

It was Thompson’s last term. In 1931, Anton Cermak campaigned against Big Bill’s alliance with Capone. Thompson tried to fight back by mocking the Bohemian immigrant as “Pushcart Tony,” but the slur backfired among ethnic voters.

Big Bill used the blacks.

don trump used and is using the rednecks.

Scary.....

What's scary is you are close to correct....😲

Big bill apparently handed out jobs to blacks...

and T apparently is getting rednecks their jobs back...

Of course you would consider that "using".....

a job...work...the horror...right?

The term "Redneck" is a racial slur... thanks for not posting the nickname "redneck" in a derogatory way in the future.

Only ones that use it around here self identify as one, and use it as a term of endearment...

You can say that you are offended, but you can't tell others how they should define their communication....

Does that make it right? Racism comes in many disguises. I love the poorly educated, even you, but classifying a group of people with a nickname in a derogatory way is a form of racism. I don't make the rules. Some people have no problem bending them though.

Accept your neighbor, brother. You may be able to make their life better in some way.

No doubt Cajun used it as racial slur. That’s what he does.

Original “rednecks” where made up of blacks, whites and Mexicans....  Red bandannas to see who was who while fighting corrupt coal officials.

This dummy try’s to use rednecks as derogatory when in reality redneck is from working hard in fields and therefore having rednecks. Imagine if a white man where to say that about field workers today. They would get blasted as ..... Racist or in other words a Cajun.

I've been called a racist, redneck, cooter, corn dog and etc on this forum.

Give it up!

IT HAS NO EFFECT ON ME PEOPLE! 😄👍

Feel free to use the word...though it can offend or not...

for the record, no offense was intended (or actually given) when I posted it....yet others think yours did or was ...

See how that works?

It's not the word or even the letters...it is the intent

and ONLY you, must live with the true meaning of your own intent.

Others will simply dismiss ill-will as you do...
