CO high school football is not per capita superior to Texas, even if looking at 11-man in CO vs. 3-man-with-QB-for-both-teams in TX. I was not serious. TheRealCAJ
Sounds like Curtis is playing 4% of GA's 8.6% in the Grayson All Stars.

All you hafta do is to consider how many big time college programs there are in Tejas? SEEMS as though that would be ZERO!

Yes, participation is high, besides having a ton of schools, it's also reflected by the size of some of these TX high school's football programs. As an example, Allen has 600+, Trinity, Katy historically had 400+, Desoto just went over 400 this season.

TheRealCAJ
If you take DFW, Greater Houston area and the Louisiana border from Texas it would be a New Mexico in D1 recruiting.

It's a different border than say the NM border. Anyways, DFW, Houston and East TX/Louisiana Border (if you will) are the D1 cash cows for TX. San Antonio isn't doing much at all truly.
