Although Ive been saying Hillgrove is a really good team. Lowndes had some really bad luck drawing Hillgrove in the 1st Rd as a #1 seed... Thats just going to make their path to a state title even harder. North Gwinnett up 51-0 over Shiloh at Halftime... Shiloh has atleast been respectful this year but NG is absolutely dismantling them. Archer 17, Collins Hill 14 - 3rd ... Collins Hill has played respectable against some really strong teams this year... They are battle tested and wont be intimidated by Archer. Cherokee 41, Westlake 10 - 3rd .... This hurts John Curtis' OOS win over Westlake badly... And this shows just how tremendously weak Region 2 was... Hillgrove gets a LONG Pick 6 to make it Lowndes 16, Hillgrove 6 with only 5 seconds til halftime Hillgrove goes for 2... And they get it.. I have them losing to Colquitt in the semifinals. Colquitt got a nice draw too in all honesty. It just works out that way this year. McEachern draws North Gwinnett and Lowndes draws Grayson in two weeks. That’s two top 5 matchups on the right side of the bracket for 1 seeds. It would have been super nice to have one more guaranteed home game, then a coin toss against Marietta before going to play on that baseball field. Yes, itll go down in the record books as a loss, no argument there. But the QB scored, which you even admitted yourself along with every person here that saw it. The refs mase the wrong call.
