maxchoboian
Huge hit to the town, I'd imagine. This is nuts.

maxchoboian
Las Vegas, with hotels and casinos being such an integral part of the their economy, must be feeling this more than most. That was my thought a month or so ago, and not much has changed for the better since then.
HawgGoneIt
I saw a story somewhere that said they are intending to open their casinos back up over the next 2 weeks. Not sure how that will work exactly, but, I assume they'll have to shut a few machines down so people aren't sitting right beside each other, that or plexiglass between the seats. Tough to maintain 6 ft. in a casino.

Maintaining 6 feet isn’t gonna stop shit , unless the casino intends on disinfecting the cards after every hand or every time Grandma pulls the lever on the slots 1

Quite a few states starting to outline reopening various businesses and ending their shelter at home mandates. In Georgia, we have seen a turn from the steady climb in cases, so, basically a plateau, but not really a steady downturn yet. The governor says we're about to reopen my gym and barber shop, so, I have some thinking to do. I miss the gym, and my hair is wooly. Idk if I do either this weekend yet though. Shit, I had to go to Wal Mart on Saturday and it was a damned mad house. No social distancing in that mofo. They're only letting so many people in, but they were all on the exact aisle I needed. All I wanted was some beef rub. It took a stick and a middle finger to get to what I needed and stay over 6' away from them grubby fucks. If this thing is still gonna actively spread, and they were expecting Georgia over all to peak this week or next, well, I bet that all changed this weekend. 2 more weeks probably now. At least in Moultrie. Haha.

Vegas (like my industry) will not recover until there is a vaccine or a cure.
