CA Voters Confused?

Not surprisingly, by overwhelming majority, the state of CA voted for Harris-Biden.   You would think that the voters might follow the official Harris-Biden CA proposition recommendations, right?

Not so fast.   CA voters only went with 4 of the 11 positions suggested by the HB ticket.    HB did not take a stance on the Stem-Cell research proposition.   Hmmmm, wonder why.

Of the 12 propositions, you could argue that the 4 that the socialists were most concerned with are:

Prop 15: HB ticket says YES!  More taxes on uber rich CA business owners.   A heroic modern day Robin Hood redistribution of wealth.    Voters: Nope, I see what you're doing.

Prop 16: HB ticket says YES!  Repeal laws preventing affirmative action, white privilege still in effect in the golden state.   Voters: Nope, been there done that.

Prop 22: HB ticket says NO!  Allows Uber, Lyft, Grub Hub... employees to remain as contract employees.   Voters:  Yes, keep greedy unions away from this success story.

Prop 25: HB ticket says YES!  Eliminate money bail.  Too many rich criminals getting away with murder.   Voters:  No, if you commit the crime, show us the dime.

HB better jump onto that amnesty program pretty quickly.  Need to get the population aligned with the Party Platform issues.

Not so fast. [...]

Interesting. Maybe it's a sign that the people who voted for Biden aren't the radicals they've been reported to be.

You get called racists if you ardently support someone that appears to be cut from that cloth. It has nothing to do with your party affiliation and more to do with being enthusiastic about someone who comes across as a racist.

As a matter of fact, right, wrong or indifferent, if you look the other way and/or pretend like it isn't so, you might get called one as well.

74+million people voted for Biden and one of the top three things on their mind when casting their vote was racial inequities.

Think about that.

As many as 74 million people think that is not only an issue, but, a top 3 of importance issue in this country.

The 70 million that voted Trump didn't even have that on their radar. Their number one thing was personal greed and their wallet/economy.

So, is it safe to assume, that those 70 million are willing to ignore racial inequities for a fatter wallet, that a good portion might well be all for racial inequities as long as they're on the top rung, or just totally blind to racial inequities as it were?

Or...

Could it be that the 74 million are totally off base and there really is nothing to see here, and if so, why did more than 80% of people of color vote the way they did?

Maybe, just maybe there are 70 million people that need to open their eyes or 74 million that should close theirs?

Hmmm. What coincidence. I aligned with all of the voters. Doesn’t matter though, my votes are probably laying some ditch in Antioch.

Nobody on my street that voted conservative at the last election received ballots in the mail, but having had my polling location switched every election (despite not moving) I wasn't really surprised.   I ended up waiting in line for 3.5hrs only to find I would have to cast a "provisional" ballot.  I was also made to sign a paper stating that I had not submitted a prior vote and also acknowledge that intentionally submitting multiple votes constituted voter fraud..... yada yada yada.   I have no idea where my original ballot went but I wouldn't be surprised if it turns up as a duplicate submission.

Wait a minute.  According to the big blue flock, economies and the average person's financial well being have suffered significantly more during Republican administration's than Democratic.  So are you breaking from the flock and admitting that Republican administration's create better economics, or are you just making false accusation?

I'm saying that if you are fooled into thinking that way, or, if it actually is that way, either/or, some people appear to be willing to make the trade for that vs. racial inequity and injustice. Big talk about economy drives that voter whether true or not.

For me personally, my mom still has popcorn ceilings and a white refrigerator in her home, so, the economy stays more or less the same for me no matter who the hell is president, which is why I'm not terribly emotionally invested in who wins or loses. I get up, go to work each day regardless.

What I wanna know today is which of you fools here called the Republican commissioner in Philadelphia and told him that the 2nd amendment was put in place for people like him, because he is counting votes in a democracy? I already know and have a decent understanding of the other part.
