ECHS05 Posted July 15, 2017 Author Report Share Posted July 15, 2017 Colquitt scored... 11 13 26 (vs Minor AL) 9 12 18 28 (vs Oakland TN) 30 (vs Childersburg AL) 20 They only scored more than 20 points in 3 of 9 games. And 13 or less in 4 of 9. The defense is what really won them so many games. And from the very few clips Ive seen, the QB isnt the problem. Maybe its the WRs. Not really at all. Although being good at 7on doesnt hurt. It helps with timing. But 7ons dont really mean much for how good a team will be with pads on. This doesnt take into account the running game at all. Nor lineman, which are obviously a HUGE part of the game. Nor a QBs ability to escape pressure. It really doesnt mean shit. They'd have a hard time playing teams like Chaminade and Cardinal Gibbons from Broward County alone, I'm sure there are other good ones around the state and SE that are tough. Seems like the FL tournaments are rarely filled with top teams save a few. 7v7 is basically what Fl's talent is best suited for IMO.
