They’re a poverty program. Can’t expect anything out of them. Troy is terrified of good OOS competition. Gorman still gives him nightmares.

A TV timeout saved The Bishop in the inaugural match.  That one still stings

The rest of the matches were during the dark years so no one cares

Servite will never strive to reach that level and probably don't want to.

Agree they’ll never reach the elite level. Make no mistake though, they definitely want to.

Maybe, but their actions don't show it. They are simply not willing to commit to the levels of talent acquisition that other schools are. They dip their toes in and flirt with it but not fully commit to it.

Kids have to want to go there. They don’t. Not when they can go to superior schools like MD and bosco. Servite started kids that transferred from MD, Jserra, and OLu last year. They aren’t turning anyone away that wants to be there.

edit - and a kid from Carson HS

Let Sammy tell it they already are...

I remember on the other site Sammy had a full Diaper Wetting tantrum over how 4-7 Servite shouldve been in the top 100...

That Servite team had better wins than 20-30 of the Top 100 that year, including the devil.  Can't dock them for losing to Top 25 teams

Exactly my point. Servite has to commit to updating the campus and the facilities. They have to tear those houses down and revamp, get an on campus stadium. They have to commit to updating their traditions (they still shave heads). Its more to it than just getting good freshmen classes and transfers from other schools. Sure, they'll get the occasional Fifita and T Mac, but they won't get a steady stream of them. And even talent retention is important. They lose kids to those other schools who then end up playing a role in beating them (Bates and Hala).

How many kids from other schools did the #OIAG team start?  I know but you should do your own research before throwing stones from your glass house.

If you know Servite well, you would understand that their traditions outweigh recruiting by a long shot.  Very similar to DLS in that respect.  SJB and MD have no moral compass when it comes to their athletic programs.

No they don’t. Les fifita does whatever he wants. The program would be nothing without his recruiting efforts. He runs a damn youth all star team from servites campus for God’s sake. You don’t even know Servite that well and you are NOTHING like De La.
