Rufus>> It was, but not at the one you probably knew well. They opened up a new Cafe Du Monde at City Park, I believe 2 or 3. years ago. It's nice and a lot less chaotic than the French Market location especially right now with the Mardi Gras kicking in pretty good. Probably take you an hour or two to get a beignet/coffee at the French Market right now. They are good, but they ain't that damn good.
