In Texas, I’d have the order of teams to consider ranking:

north shore

Desoto

duncanville

westlake

summer creek

north crowley

Atascocita

byron Nelson

SLC

westfield

Not sure I want to jump on Westfield just yet. I’ll have mine out tomorrow evening. Wanted to make sure Bergen Cath. took care of business with Delby.

Their only 2 losses are to Hightower and north shore. With an impressive playoff win over Rockwall.

Agree that the Rockwall game was an eye-opener, but it seems like every time I jump on the Westfield bandwagon I get burned.  With Duncanville on the horizon, I am in a wait and see posture.

Ok, but you have  Katy and teams similar to them ranked. Katy lost to a no name team in cy fair that was just blasted by north shore. At least Westfield will get the opportunity to play a team like Duncanville

13 Carthage (13-0)

The myth lives.

4A Carthage has never defeated or played a 6A team in Texas, not that I see.

That's the problem with these Texas small schools. They never schedule up to 6A and play mediocre 5A teams sometimes and struggle with them.

What are you going to do, it's the internet.

So you think there are 10+ teams better than WL? (If they pull out a close win v LT then I would agree. I’m not high on LT)

what does your TX top 15 look like?

DeSoto

Duncanville

North Shore

North Crowley

Byron Nelson

Southlake Carroll

Summer Creek

Atascocita

Westlake - I’ve been kind of hard of them ever since their first close game against Ridge Point.

Then close games with Lake Travis and Dripping Springs. Maybe I’m being too critical of them but I think most of the teams above win a more convincing game than Westlake did.

Coppell

South Oak Cliff

Hightower

Willis

Lake Travis

Cedar Hill

Westlake went through a QB transition early, so this will be the first time LT plays the new starter for a full game. I’m curious to see how much their offense n team has improved (if any)
