maxchoboian
Colorado School of Mines is playing Harding University out of Searcy, Arkansas, for the DII championship today. Entrance requirements to Mines are rigid, and student's school work loads are extremely challenging. Rather than adding stickers to their helmets for significant performances in games throughout the season, the Orediggers simply use one sticker for their individual academic major. Below is a list of the majors declared by the Mines players. The school's athletic department has the motto, Where Nerds Win. The Orediggers lost in the national championship last year to Ferris State, but hope to come out victorious this time. Undergraduate Majors Mechanical Engineering - 30 Computer Science - 7 Civil Engineering - 6 Business Engineering & Management Science - 5 Metallurgical & Materials Engineering - 4 Petroleum Engineering - 4 Electrical Engineering - 3 Chemical Engineering - 2 Economics - 1 Engineering Physics - 1 Geological Engineering - 1 Mining Engineering - 1 Quantitative Biosciences & Engineering - 1 Master's Programs Engineering & Technology Management - 19 Computer Science - 3 Chemical Engineering - 2 Additive Manufacturing - 1 Data Science - 1 Environmental Engineering Science - 1 Mechanical Engineering - 1 Quantitative Biosciences & Engineering - 1 Space Resources - 1

The fields of study by the Mines players is quite impressive. Most likely, they'll end up in something other than a Cousin Eddie RV.

West Monroe has a little connection to Harding, former WM player Matt Middleton is their QB/running back Coach and former Reb Cayden Pierce plays LB for the Bison q
Ga96
School of mines is were the current Valdosta State coach came from. They're doing better without them and VSU played as much defense as Lowndes this year ended up getting blown out at home in the D2 playoffs.
