@GloryDays can you confirm this? YOU said it was a league game? Now it isn't.

If this isn't a league game, DLS could have opted out of this BS game to play Folsom.

There is absolutely NO REASON that DLS should be playing an 7-5, public school, during week 0, while all the other teams are playing significant games. Ridiculous and you should be ashamed.

It is NOT a league game. They are only required to play in their section of the league, which MV/SRV/Foothill/CAL are in. The lower division is (Amador/Dubliin/DV/ Granada/Livermore). They are not required to play any of the lower bracket teams. They are just on the last year of the contract with AV.

DLS has week 5 open. Why not move 7-5 Amador to that week, and take Folsom on week 0?

Too much risk?

BTW- Did your other names get banned?

Sounds about right.

Any reason Folsom couldn't have opted out of their week 1 game that DLS offered?

Only person who should be ashamed is Folsom Fan(s) at this point.

Since you were wrong about Amador Valley being a league game in week 0, you have zero credibility. You literally just made that up, as DLS scheduled CC before Folsom even called. And this is per the Folsom peeps.

You are an idiot and don't even have a connection to DLS. Nice try though on that Week 0 "league game" LOL!

When the Trinity League fathers heard that DLS denied the devil because scheduling Something Something Valley would be more of a challenge.

Kind of funny, because when we called Servite, we got no call back.

They wanted to avoid SoCal ass whoppin.

Lookin like DLS when they scheduled a "league game" week 0 when Folsom called LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!

Punishment for the Folsom Rule.

DLS needed that regional game to fine tune the gameplan for the SoCal Open rep.

Folsom f'd that all up, so now they can go fly kites in week 0.

Punishment for the DLS rule, which needs to go away.

DLS shouldn't be allowed to duck all the top teams and play SRV & Amador Valley. What a joke.

Folsom had a guaranteed championship game vs DLS any year they wanted it.

Folsom forgot their wood screws, got their doors blown off, and found safe harbor in the lower division bowl games.

Cry all you want about getting stood up, but this is all on Folsom.

They played a total of 2 times in what? The last 50 years? Get out of here. Folsom's starts were all underclassman those games and the "magically" came into place when Folsom was at it's peak. They had 11 D1 guys on that team in 2014. DLS was able to avoid that stain.

And this year- Folsom has EVERYONE returning, with an NFLer on the roster. DLS won't play. Classic.

I would be embarrassed about their schedule. Total joke. Utah!??????????????????????????????????????

-  That's the only response crying Folsom fans deserve.  Reinforcing bad behavior is a no no.

Woodcreek is a league game. Amador is not. You can drop Amador.

Face it, you pussed out.

Technically you're half right. It is not a league game, but dropping Amador would void the contract and goes against EBAL rules which would most likely kick DLS out of a league again, which they are not wanting to happen. I know, run-on sentence.

I like your non trolling behavior since being ousted of your other names. Bravo!

Screw the EBAL. They have no business in that league anyways. Drop 7-5 Amador and let's play some real damn ball.

I agree, but the long term goal of EBAL and NCS is to make money and wishing that unfortunately won't happen. DLS will most likely play someone such as Granada or Livermore next year and begin another 2-year contract.

Busy weekend with kids athletics, so it looks like I've got a lot of catching up to do.

Amador Valley is not a league game but is assigned by the league (see article and excerpt below). Being played in the same slot it was last year.

https://www.mercurynews.com/2018/01/04/de-la-salle-football-no-more-automatic-playoff-berth/

Only the four games against divisional foes will count in the league standings. Each school is assigned two games against teams in the other division, but they will be treated as non-league contests. League members have the option of not playing those games in order to schedule different opponents.

De La Salle will play Amador Valley in a divisional crossover, but has an agreement with Livermore not to play their scheduled game on Sept. 28.
